Marie-Odile Wagner

Black, White, Silence. The light slides and reveals what the eye did not perceive first. Marie-Odile Wagner, visual artist from Strasbourg, likes to experiment, to make, to undo, “imprint” … So many ways to look at the world and to make visible what is banal. His pictorial research develops around the trace and the imprint. She uses various techniques (painting, engraving, sculpture) that enrich each other, and reveal constants: the quest for relief and the concern for the material, research around the light, the visible and the invisible. His works raise questions around the multiple, repetition, rhythm. For the artist, creation is an adventure, a path, the expression of an inner journey as a vital opening to another

An atypical life which filled me, and which continues well. First of all, the chance to discover Cartier-Bresson, Brassaï, Lartigue, Evans’s photo books from an early childhood. Passion that catches me about 8 years ago with the discovery of what is called “street-photography”. Since then, a path of effort of pleasure and research. At the moment, a work on the surgical art approached aesthetically in B & W. Photographing becoming progressively indispensable, irrepressible. Go beyond appearances. Give me the possibility of a discovery of the Other, its realities, its diversities, its mysteries. To enrich oneself with one’s differences. Propaganda form of tolerance, for a world of astonishment and humility. Willingness to contribute to the approximation of our lives scattered in the illusion of a globalized planet.

Thierry Jochum

Born in 1981 in Alsace, Thierry Jochum has always loved art in all its forms. Egon Schiele and Gustave Klimt are his first references. A pictorial universe prone to a particular imagination of the human body. As part of his applied arts studies, he chooses to detach himself to create an imaginary free from any technical constraint. Pluridisciplinary, he develops his art in various forms. Currently hairdresser, he perceives the hair as a medium and presents different performances on the occasion of St’art, the contemporary art fair of Strasbourg, where models and hair become a form of expression. His performances are the interconnection between the medium, the model and the spectator. He uses the brushes to express a certain carnal violence of the male body. Like the breach of a sculpture, he translates its crack through the male body on raw supports. A palette of cold colors to face the spectator, allows him to strike and expose himself. « MASCULUM CORPUS »

Claudine Wogelweith

«If one indulges in reverie, the sweetness of life, to smell the flowers, feel the caress of the wind, then we are in the universe of Claudine Wogelweith. She is a woman of great sensitivity, emotional, whose very fine painting is tinged with romanticism in shimmering colors. Her work evokes eternal happiness, but also conceals under troubled skies a great passion.”
